Beacuse this distribution is, in fact “Lite,” it has less features pre-installed. I have found over the years working with Linux that a lot of stuff simply doesn’t work to my fancy right out of the box, thus my new WEAKERTHAN kernel. All applications here can be installed either using dpkg -i
, or simply by clicking on them (themes etc). I am offering ALL of my content for this release separately for anyone who may want to modify it or use it in another OS. If you do, please email me a heads up so I can link you!

Specific Applications
Catchme-NG! (Ping Back) – This is a spin off of my Catchme-NG! application which tracks wired or wireless system’s actual locations. It is in BETA stages and needs more functionality, but for now works great. It’s easy to set up as I do in the video here:
This grabs the external IP from a php located on our servers, then stores it with the time in a MySQL table each hour. This table is then queried each hour and Emailed to any address specified.
