NEW! Android version of Catchme-NG!


This new version will be available in the Android Market for only $1. All monies made by this application will go towards rebuilding the Lab which has suffered from a major fire on Thursday Jan 28th. Once the Lab is rebuilt more code will soon follow.




NEW! PHP Version


Catchme-ng version 3.0 Web, now available with WeakNet Linux Version 2.0 Final!

This will be a GUI version of the previous code. It will only require that you have the Aircrack-ng suite and no other dependency.

This will also be made available seperately very soon and the Terminal based version will still be available below.

Once you Click on the icon in 1337tool in the OS, you will have to put in the sudo password – which is “weaknet.”
Next, Firefox will open up and you can start up airodump-ng with the “–write” option and specify the filename.
plug that filename into the browser and go wardriving!

Perl Version

Catchme-ng was a perl script that greps the output file from airodump-ng repeatedly for a specified MAC Address. It was inspired by the movie “TrackDown” where tsutomu shimomora was searching wiht his computer equipment for Kevin Mitnick (though it was cellular this is based off of 802.11). Say you find a MAC address of a wireless hacker in your Router logs and you want to catch him/her. plug in the MAC and cruise the neighborhood.. When catchme-ng finds the MAC it plays an alarm(.mp3)
