WEAKERTHAN 3 and Ubiquiti AirView

I have the binary pre-installed to use this awesome piece of hardware from your soon-to-be version of Linux. If you bought one of these, you know how awesome they are. if you have the WiSpy from MetaGeek, I have those binaries coded by Kismet-wireless.org installed on the DVD as well. Spectrum analyzers can show you how much noise or other traffic is flooding every channel in the 2.4GHz range. This is no different. This device comes with an external antenna, it’s only about $69 (WiSpy is like $99 ~ $599), and is pretty damn accurate!

Like the new font? Oh, I’d like to shout out to all the BETA testers diligently working their lil’ butts of for me! Vire, BlackSark, Grant Grant, ngh0st and Fixer! <3

The Application for the Airview is amazing! I have the Waterfall voew enabled by default, but you can change that. If you click "help" you can read the full color guide from Ubiquiti. To start the app, simply plug in your device and start it from the WEAKERTHAN 3 FluxBox menu.

So stay tuned, I got Airodump-ng and GPSd playing nice together. I got even more wireless drivers installed, and I have been slowly, but surely, hacking through the BUG list given to me by my superior 1337 BETA testers.

Grant Grant? His pappy and momma gave him the same first and last name? Awesome! =P
On another note, I’ve been extremely busy lately, so I haven’t had a chance to give the new version a proper testing – but I have taken a few glances at it here and there when I have the time. And boy, I must say, it’s a huge upgrade from the last. Keep up the good work. ^_^

Oops! I almost forgot to ask – where has the ubiquity installer gone? I’ve grown quite used to it. Never ironed out the old bugs? Remastersys isn’t bad, but for those who aren’t as savvy, it could prove a difficult task.

Grant. I like the remastersys installer. And im a total beginner on linux.

Partitions, you can learn it on less than 10 minuts using a guide. Is not that boring.

My pentest hobby, its what made me study linux, and i keep learning more from both worlds each day. If you like pentest, people will have to learn more about linux sooner or later.

About misspelling the nicks… I think Trevelyn has changed boring parts of the memory like “remember names” to use them for improve on creativity and hacking.

Think about it like… if he hacked himself, and compiled a better version. lol

Im waiting to receive the new “Crotalus 2000mW USB WiFi Realtek 8187L”

I think the drivers will work fine. Then ill do some wireless pentest.

(BTW i just have some pyhton script to decode WPA WiFi’s in “Sp_a.in” my country. Last month, the Comtrend’s default password algorithm was cracked)

About the font type, well, in my little 13″ screen “Ubuntu” font its the one that works best. The new one in WT3 looks a bit… “blurry”? Maybe its just me.

I always use your DEFCON_2 style (lovely)
