Cool WiFi Hacking video that I do in association to the last WebLog post I made on my personal page: Trevelyn.com Here you can see I use device “mon0″ to attack the router. The next thing I do is generate an ARP request by pinging something that doesnt exist causing the router to look for it! (ARP broadcast). I catch the broadcast and replay it over and over to force the router to replay it back, causing my packets (traffic) to go up. each packet has an IV. more IV’s == better chance of cracking the WEP key.

Next, I attack the attacker, by deauthing him.

Sun Microsystem’s VirtualBox running on Windows, can run a live session of the ISO. Setup and install is easy, so i don;t cover that. once you have my ISO and VirtualBox installed, this video tutorial shows you how to set up your wireless adapter and external USB drive. If you would like to install WNLAv4.1k you simply need to create a virtual hard disk (one of the options i swing by during setup). This creates a large file that acts like a hard disk. If you select the “Install WNLAv4.1k” from the Desktop menu, your virtual disk should be shown in installer. You can then make backups of the virtual hard disk, which is just a file, in case you break something! :S

After asking more questions, he stated that the FBI was courteous and handled him and his family in a professional manner.

I was interrogated in my home for more than an hour, they left me one computer and took all my linux cds, the comp I was left with has no hard disk, and I have a single Live cd of Puppy linux to use.

They took his WeakNet Linux CD’s!

Fixer was a great guest, and a great wireless hacking go-to guy. He is the one who suggested the WiFi-Link as a great vendor for purchasing cards, and the worlds best Wireless adapter – the PCI express – Atheros AR9280 based Ubiquity SR71e that I have reviewed. Fixer has a family and wants nothing more than to escape life and live peacefully in a nice wilderness setting. He is a great guy, funny, smart and was really helpful to WeakNet Labs. I cannot vouch for other ETA members, since I did not know them. But, please, send Fixer your love in his sad times. We do, though we know not what you did wrong, you were a great guy to us. Updated Google-Chrome, added fast all-start option in menu for all services start, updated more tools, etc. Thanks to the help of some Perl Monks, the PDF output looks a lot nicer in WiFiCake too.
