WNLAv4.2i

Calling all wireless drivers, please submit wireless drivers that need patched, etc. I am fairly limited in hardware due to my house fire, but am still receiving donations. I am going to use the newest kernel I possibly can, making sure that mac8011 can perform fragmentation attacks. So far, mac80211 seemed a bit broken on 2.6.35, but I am chugging away trying to get everything sorted out! I will keep you all posted here on the weblog during development. If there are any tools or drivers that were not in the last release that you would like to see, now is the time to submit them to weaknetlabs[at]gmail[dot]com please!

Donations

Thanks to Patrick Meenehan, WNL can now continue development for Wireless and GPS applications! We received a generous donation from him and are very grateful! :)

It’s our 5yr Anniversary!

Well, it’s about that time. 5 years ago, I broke my first WEP key with one Million IV’s, a Gateway 3040gz, a Nintendo DS, and a Dlink Router in my home. To celebrate, I am displaying the video that started it all for me. The original, by Christophe Devine himself. Moskau!

:) Thanks for joining us on our journey, it definitely doesn’t end here!

Finally, the paper I have been talking about is done! http://weaknetlabs.com/multimedia/papers/android.pdf I followed it all the way through and it all works fine, as long as you have Eclipse installed already. Installing it and setting it up with WeakNet Linux for Android Development is actually quite simple and will be yet another tutorial for the future.  Once you have this installed, making applications for Android is very simple – finding good documentation for hasty people who don’t know Java – is hard.  This paper mashes all of those considerations into a heap of easy to follow directions to get you coding apps that play sounds, change layouts when screen layout is changed, show images, make buttons, make image buttons, backgrounds and more!  You don’t need to know Java! :D

I wrote this document out of my Hotel room, so of it seems a bit weak, please feel free to Email me.  WeakNetLabs [at] Gmail [dot] com OR Douglas [at] WeakNetLabs [dot] com

Our website is getting a new make over as well. We will host our own RSS again, but will be continuing using our Twitter account. Th switch will allow people to be more interactive with the site by posting comments and suggestions, and over all it should just be easier for me to maintain. Before, I would manually update everything!
